A week ago, howies has a phone photo competition and it was left in the back of my mind thinking “I’ll enter something in soon”. Due to the little cells in my brain, I ended up doing my web tailor work, typing up posts for Gradual Panic, running around, cooking gorgeous food for the other half and the bambino, and of course, getting things done.
After having to nip out to the town, the first thing I felt was the warm humid breeze, sun shining down and I remembered the t-shirt I was wearing with the print “Smile (resistance is futile)”. The power of suggestion can truly work and when it works, it is truly magical. A simple and basic human expression that does wonders.
A quick snap on the iPhone, processed through the microchips inside the iPhone and I got a picture that I am quietly proud of.
Then the competition I remember came back to me. I checked the e-mail when is the closing date and it was 3rd May. I didn’t feel pooey about it because I looked back at what I had done in a week and it made me smile with one thought.
Life is good.
