It’s a great little book. Some snippets in there are great when it comes to dealing with customers. Especially when they are so emotional when it comes to data lost, broken phones or just plain nuts. The Genius bar are the place to see everything and it is not the most easy job in the world. Grab a copy today!

I did get offered a Genius position for a store that opened in the South a few years ago. The interview process is sometimes crazy because I had about 2 interviews. They really want to know if you want to work for Apple. It isn’t just a retail store job. It’s Apple. A culture that exploded over the last decade and people want in. Along the way, I have spoken to a lot of people during the process and they are incredibly friendly, love to talk about anything as they all come from different backgrounds.

My tip to grab an role at the store? Talk about yourself and them too, ask them questions and remember, they are human just like you.
