Up on the hill is where you find us

Friday June 15th, 2012

It has been a year since I have wrote The Aces and The Joker and reading it brings back the raw and peaceful feeling of what was (or still) to come. Everyone gathered around us in support that we can get through this and beyond.

“Yeah, up on the hill that shit is timeless”

Some people say that when the rain comes, it washes away what have been troubling us, help us step back and refocus on what we do, thousands of quotes can be said about the rain in philosophical terms.

“Yeah, up on the hill that burns the brightest”

If you look at our progress since last year. I never known such strength and belief can exist from everyone. From my web tailor’s service (which took off last year) to landing a job at a local web agency in a short amount of time is an incredible feat for me. Along with revisiting my past and digging up memories, I remember one thing that I loved at school.

Being creative.

I started Minimal Gamer to explore this area. It took a couple of months learning how to design, layout, write and understanding games. What you could say it has brought more than what I knew about gaming. It’s the quality that people want to look for. I’m going to continue with that. Hannah is helping me a lot with this as we have such huge belief in this.

“Yeah, up on the hill there ain’t no contest”

What about Hannah?

She is heavily pregnant with about 8 weeks to go with hormones all over the shop. I swear it is like trying to tame a bull sometimes but we have learnt one thing and that is to laugh it off. We do argue and taking potshots at each other and ended up laughing. There is a new side to Hannah that she certainly takes things in her stride and being witty about it.

“Yeah, up on the hill, up on the hill”

Now we are on the top of the hill and there are more hills to climb.
