iOS 6 Maps changes

Update 22nd September: Apple Maps: The FAQ – Be sure to read all this. It proves that people do either have short memory or reliant on technology which was once word of mouth (remember the days we asked people for directions?). Mapping technology is great as we explore the world in depth from our handsets and yet at the same time, we need to exercise our memories.

Update: The Loop got a response from Apple about this situation. Good move.

It turns out people are complaining about the new maps in iOS 6.

This shows how much people are relying on Google Maps and how much data that company have consumed over the years.

What can we do to help out?

When viewing the map, tap on the page curl at the bottom right corner and tap on Report a Problem. It is self explanatory from there and be sure to explain exactly what is the problem (by being nice).

Put it this way. If we help them, they will help us.

In the wise words of Stefan Sagmesiter, “Complaining is silly. Either act or forget.
