A year later.
Friday October 5th, 2012
It was this day when Steve Jobs had passed away last year and we were stunned by the news. Tributes poured from everywhere I went online, his auto biography came out and everyone was whispering what will happen to Apple.
The whispers are still happening today with many umpteen articles saying Apple has not produced anything new in a year. The mac hardware line went through a refresh, OS X Mountain Lion was unleashed, the iPhone 5 appeared along with the new look iPod touch and Nano, iOS 6 with big changes under the hood and the stock seemed to be going up and up. Apple has been busy as it is settling into its new ground that Steve left behind. It is inevitable that the company will have to find it and they are chancing it.
A quick glimpse at the tech press, people wrote absurd headlines if Steve was alive, he would have done this and that. Well known writers like John Gruber and the duo Jim Dalrymple & Peter Cohen at The Loop kept going forward writing about Apple.
We all do miss Steve. Heck, I miss my baby boy, Joshua, who passed away last year even more and yet at the same time, it makes us to be stronger, wiser and knowing how to dismiss the shits that goes on around us.
